David Pitts is an internationally recognized journalist whose work has appeared in major magazines and newspapers in the United States and overseas including, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Christian Science Monitor, The Baltimore Sun, Black Enterprise Magazine, Seven Days (Canada), The Manila Times (Philippines), The Sunday Times (South Africa), The Foreign Digest (Nigeria), The Daily News (Tanzania), and The Sun (Mexico). His work also has been featured in the International Herald Tribune.
For fifteen years, the author was a senior writer for the U.S. Information Agency/Voice of America. He reported from Europe, Africa and Latin America as well as here in the United States. His articles on President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and other members of the Kennedy family, as well as on U.S. domestic and foreign policy, were disseminated around the world. He has an MA in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. and a BS in Political Science from Bradford University in England.
